George Brennan
President Telesis Solutions Group

BrennanMr. Brennan is President of Telesis Communication Services, Inc. a firm he co-founded in 1998. Telesis Solutions Group was formed in 2006 to meet the need for full service, managed IT outsourcing services and to become a vital consulting resource for increasing efficiency and lowering operating costs.

Mr. Brennan is responsible for Telesis’s operating and business units in New York, Boston, Houston and Portland and the US Virgin Islands.

Previously, Mr. Brennan owned and operated telecommunication companies specializing in professional telephone answering service bureaus for the medical and legal industries. He also operated an antennae site acquisition services firm providing leaseholds on rooftops and thoroughfares to the cellular telephone industry. Clients included Trump Management, US Department of the Navy, Con Edison, Bell Atlantic Mobile, NYNEX Mobile and AT&T.

George chairs the Green Technology committee for the U.S. Green Building Council. He recently completed a series of sustainability seminars on how companies can become leaner, meaner and greener in and outside their operating environments.

He is a committee member of the IFMA (International Facilities Management Association) and the business roundtable of the British American Business Institute (BABI).

He also co-ordinates the largest single day community blood drive on Long Island, is on the Board of Directors of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and is a Scoutmaster.

Jack Paul
Vice President, Operations

PaulJack brings a distinguished career with over 30 years of experience building and leading organizations for Fortune 500 companies as well as start-up experience in the Technology and Energy Management industries.

His experience includes building and leading organizations for Goldman Sachs, Citi Private Bank and NYNEX (now Verizon). He served as Chief Operating Officer for a successful Technology start up and as a Director in a successful Green Business/Energy Management start-up. His multi-discipline experience and expertise includes: Technology and Telecom Operations, Facility Management, Business Risk and Controls, Information Security and Management, Financial Management and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Program development and implementation.

At Telesis, a full service IT company with corporate offices in N.Y. and three satellite offices throughout the U.S., Jack’s experience will be available for existing clients as well as new business development and process management. Jack will be heading up the roll out of Telesis’ exciting new multi-media, multi solution ImProve!TM product family.

Jack is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and has a Master of Science Degree in Systems Management from USC. He served in Korea as a Captain in the United States Army and is a retired Lieutenant Colonel (US Army Reserve).

He and his family reside in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Thomas Niewulis, Jr.
West Coast Operations, Telesis Solutions Group

NiewulisTom is a noted international lecturer/conference speaker on optical engineering, metro optical networking, data optical networking, internet QoS, XDSL, ATM, multi-protocol issues, terabit routing architectures and infrastructure physical security.

While at GST Telecommunications he served as Vice President of Engineering and Operations. Subsequently Tom has been a consultant with Peek and Associates serving the rural telephone market and later with NCDCS, Inc. focusing on remote location technologies for the oil and gas industries.

Tom has over twenty years experience in Telecom Operations and is now focusing on introducing new web browser based programs that can cost effectively implement, high-definition Telepresence systems for Telemedicine including Telesurgery, Telepathology and Tele-endoscopies to the west coast market.

Jay Kaminsky
Director Network Infrastructure

KaminskyJay Kaminsky is one of the co-founders of M5 Networks Inc., a NYC based industry leader in hosted VoIP services. He has played seminal roles in both carrier relations and finance over the course of his M5 career. He managed the higher-level relationships with M5’s telecom vendors, contributing to the build-out of new products, the maintenance and quality of existing telecom infrastructure, and the resolution of escalated network issues. Prior to M5, Jay served as controller at Interport Communications, one of the earliest ISP’s in the financial district in NYC. After their merger with RCN, Jay led the New York commercial sales office for RCN as senior director.

Jay has a BA from Queens College, NY and participated in their overseas program in Israel. Jay has traveled extensively through the Middle East, Europe and throughout the U.S.

Jay resides in Northport, Long Island with his wife, three children and his 100 pound lapdog.

Brandon Knicely
South East Operations, Telesis Solutions Group

KnicelyMr. Knicely's technical experience spans building global communications networks, automated network and systems operations, hosted application service frameworks, advanced information security models, and next generation wireless and wireline infrastructure.

Before founding CoR Mr. Knicely served as a strategist at IBM and as the VP of Global Engineering & Technology for Caprock Communications, the leader in telecommunications services to the offshore oil and gas industry. His operational experience includes research and development, engineering, operations, product development, service management, program management, sales, marketing, and consulting.

In 1997 he developed the first multi-tenant, multi-service, TCP/IP based network for commercial office buildings.

Mr. Knicely holds a BSME degree in Engineering with Honors from West Virginia University.

James R. Gould, Jr.
Senior Project Engineer

GouldJim’s career spanned over 30 years at Grumman Aerospace Corp. as a Senior Engineer and Program Manager.

He started out by being honored as one of the top 10 participants selected from 80 candidates by Senior Corporate Management for Grumman’s Professional Development Program.

Later on he was honored again by being selected to join that same Professional Development Program where he was involved in Corporate Management and Program Management Engineering.

Jim also participated in Grumman’s High Level Security Proposal Center, developing highly classified proposals and presentations.

Some of his program / project management and engineering support activities included the:

  • E-2C Hawkeye Reconnaissance Aircraft and Tactics Trainer

Jim has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Long Island Universities C.W. Post Campus and a B.S. Degree in Management / Math from Hofstra University.

Jim lives with his wife Barbara, a professional jeweler, in Dix Hills, NY.

Jim is a member of the Greenlawn/Centerport Historical Association, the Corvette Society Club, and the National Corvette Restoration Society.

Roland Pabst
Director of Renewable Energy Strategies

PabstMost recently Roland worked as a consultant for altPower a global company where he was responsible for project management and installation. altPower, provides expertise in renewable energy with a focus on solar-electric systems, especially where solar panels are incorporated into the shell of new buildings.

At VetroPack, a Swiss container glass manufacturer, the third largest in Europe, he ran the internal engineering group and later the International Vetroconsult. Roland had major responsibility in the set up of recycling glass container operations and installed several plants in Switzerland and Austria.

Roland was also the project manager for the first glass Cullet preheater, which reduced furnace energy by 15%, and oversaw the installation of the world’s first DeNOx filter system behind furnaces. Internationally he was responsible for energy audits in Glass Container Plants in Taiwan, Brazil and Argentina.

His distinguished career started with ABB (formerly BBC Brown Boveri) for whom he spent 8 years in Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Bahrain and Mexico where he managed the installation and commissioned power plants.

Roland received his Mechanical Engineering degree in Switzerland. He permanently moved to the United States in 1999 and became a U.S. citizen in 2009.

Don Marchon

MarchonDon received his M.B.A. from Hofstra University and has held executive management and management positions at Hewlett-Packard Company, Metiom (formerly Intelisys Electronic Commerce), and Ontel Corporation.

Through Don’s vision RMT has created advanced breakthroughs in “Telemedicine Technology” increasing pathology and patient care capability via the internet without the need for special software.

RMT’s “Be There Anywhere Video Technology” provides unsurpassed tools for video conferencing, Turnkey Web casting and remote inspection.

Robert (Red) Bourdage
Telesis Advisory Board

BourdageMr. Bourdage has over 40 years of experience in management, electronics, information technology, telecommunications, medical research and video systems. He has successfully managed communications and data networks in medical, business, and military settings.

As the Department of Defense Medical representative on the Defense Information Infrastructure Initiative team, he represented the military medical community in building the military’s first converged voice, video and data network for all military organizations in the Pacific Northwest.

Red has always been a technology innovator and was one of the first in military medicine to implement online prescription refills, web babies, and other online services. He has conceived, designed and implemented Intranet systems, video conferencing systems, IP video conferencing in medical settings and Ethernet delivery systems for a national telecommunications provider.

His computer science background includes systems programming, statistical analysis, project management, computer operations, network management, Internet systems management, identity management, testing and requirements for government and private industry.

He holds a BA in Behavioral Science and an MBA in Telecommunications Management and a Graduate Certificate in Identity Management.

Tony N. Nuzio
Telesis Advisory Board

NuzioTony is President and CEO of ICC Logistics Services, Inc., a transportation and logistics-consulting firm with headquarters in Hicksville, NY.

The company started as a local freight bill-auditing firm, and has grown to become a national firm with offices in New York, Massachusetts, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

As their client's strategic partners, ICC Logistics has helped hundreds of small, midsize and large corporations improve their bottom line through cost-saving Supply Chain Management Solutions.

Tony is also the publisher and editor-in-chief of a monthly newsletter entitled “Logistics Strategies” which is distributed to thousands of readers each month. The newsletter provides readers with up-to-the minute information on what’s new in transportation and logistics, as well as providing strategies for improving operational efficiencies and freight cost reductions.

A passionate educator, Tony is responsible for creating and teaching academic programs for BOCES of Nassau County, NY, Nassau Community College and the US Merchant Marine Academy on logistics, transportation and supply chain management. Tony also worked with Cahners Publishing Company for over 20 years providing educational and training programs throughout the country and at major corporations including La-Z-Boy Chair Company, PPG Industries and the IBM Corporation.
